Avni Safepad – Tested antimicrobial reusable cloth sanitary pad

Welcome to healthy, green and pocket friendly periods with Safepad, an award winning antimicrobial cloth pad made with love in India in a women’s livelihood project. This is a starter pack of two menstrual pads (1 day pad and 1 night pad). Ideal for first time users of cloth pads. Try them, get comfortable and then go for more. Each pad absorbs 20 ml. It is recommended to change any menstrual pad after 4-6 hours. Each pad lasts for 3 years.
ABOUT THE TECHNOLOGY : Safepad does more than absorbing, it protects from vaginal infections while in use. It prevents the build up of bacteria due to moisture even when the pad cannot be dried in sun.
MATERIALS :
Each pad has 3 layers of high-performance fabrics for rapid absorption, leak proofing, dry feel. The breathable top layer prevents irritation, rashes and gives dry feel. The middle core is ultrabsorbent and bottom is PU laminated
FABRIC : Soft, absorbent, hypo-allergenic and they come with a storage and carry pouch. Very thin, light weight and stain proof, it is perfect for tweens, teenagers, and women of all age groups to #letyourskinbreathe. The fabric does not look worn out or pale after using even for 3 years. Switch to cloth and use on all 5 days of your period cycle. If you are new to cloth pads try on #2outof5days like spotting days, low flow days, night time, holidays.
WASH CARE : After use just soak the pad in 2 mugs of cool tap water for 10 minutes. Once the menstrual fluid is out gently rub with your hands and regular detergent/ toss it in the machine with other clothes. If you are out of home and unable to wash the pad immediately, just fold the pad with soaked side inwards, snap it and store in the cloth pouch. Nothing leaks out. Come home and wash all used pads during the day without any worry. NO antibiotics, NO stains, NO pilling after prolonged use.
